A note from Kate...

Its nigh on impossible to try and sum up the last four months both personally and professionally. Running a business and supporting clients in these unique times, whilst also ensuring KBPR staff are supported, well, guided and happy. And, on a personal level, balancing working from home with continued ‘home learning’ (and I do use that term very loosely in my house), trying to provide a summer holiday for the kids that still has really positive memories and thinking about how, as a business, we continue with our ambitious plans for growth.

To all intents and purposes the world of PR has never been busier for those organisations willing to engage. News and stories haven’t dwindled, quite the opposite, there is so much for pension funds and their providers and advisors to think about.  And, as ever, times of great change can often provide huge opportunity for innovation and creativity for those organisations that can identify it, and are nimble enough to act on it. We are fortunate to work with exactly these types of organisations.

KBPR has big plans but, for now, here is a quick recap on what we’ve been up to. If you aren’t doing so already please do follow us on Twitter and LinkedIn, get involved in our polls and surveys, and please do let us know your thoughts, ideas and suggestions on what you see going on in the world of pension and investments.

A last minute special shout out to all the parents who waved their children back to school… the happiest of days… but am I the only one that panics now every time the school ping goes on the phone?? If they close schools again there is a very important conference somewhere far far away.. exempt from lockdown. That I really need to get to.

As always, if you would like to know more about anything in this newsletter or have any feedback, please get in touch here.
What's happened

In September we undertook our Q4 virtual team strategy meeting, and it was a huge success. Big things are coming to KBPR!

We celebrated World Wellbeing Week back in June by sharing our thoughts on wellbeing across social media. Take a look here

We launched our new monthly social media campaign, #KBPRthinks, and kicked off in August with thoughts on the future of city working. Check out the latest blog article on the campaign here.

As our team is growing, we said goodbye to our beloved Christopher Street office in August. Keep an eye out for our new home in 2021!
A time to celebrate...

Congratulations to Professional Pensions who have been celebrating their 25th year of circulation since the launch in 1995. We are always proud to have connections with such a leading publication for the occupational pensions industry. Check out this image of the first ever magazine!
Our other news...

We would like you to welcome, again, our new two new employees; Priti Dey, PR Account Manager...

...and Anastasia Pantry, our new Marketing Manager. Both of our new joiners came into the team in July and have hit the ground running. Follow them on social media to keep up to date with all things KBPR!
We briefly stepped foot in London, back in July, to welcome onboard our new team members. As the workplace is becoming increasingly virtual this was a great way to integrate our newest recruits, and to catch up with each other, after what seems like a lifetime behind a computer screen.

Our clients have been extremely busy too! Check out what they have been up to here.
Coming up...

In October we will be attending this years Festival of Marketing virtually. This will be our first appearance at the largest global event dedicated to brand marketers, where we hope we can learn, celebrate, and help shape the future.
The Women in Pensions Awards will now take place online, with a special online ceremony this year. The winners will be announced LIVE on Wednesday 25 November at 3pm, and Kate is looking forward to joining the celebrations again this year.
Kate is excited to say she will be attending the PLSA Annual Conference again this year. As you know this is the biggest event in the industry and Kate looks forward to it every year. This year's event is virtual so she is very much looking forward to  seeing connections, both old and new, in a virtual environment for the first time.
